The Heart of Motherhood

Motherhood has a way of reshaping everything.

Your priorities.

Your routines.

Your understanding of love.

Even your understanding of yourself.

Some days it feels soft and beautiful.

Other days it feels exhausting and overwhelming.

Most days, it feels like both at once.

This year, Mother’s Day feels especially personal to me.

As a new mum, I’ve started to understand motherhood not just as a role, but as a constant act of carrying.

Carrying love.

Carrying responsibility.

Carrying traditions, memories, and hopes for the future all at the same time.

And somewhere inside that, I’ve found myself thinking more deeply about home.

About the things that ground us.

The things that connect generations.

The things we pass down quietly — sometimes without even realizing it (the good and the bad)

The KY Heart Necklace was designed as a symbol of carrying Cayman close to your heart. A reminder that home is not always a place — sometimes it’s a feeling, a memory, or a person.

The Thatch Stud Earrings were inspired by traditional Caymanian thatch weaving — a craft built on patience, care, and generations of knowledge passed through the hands of women before us.

To me, thatch weaving feels deeply connected to motherhood itself.

Piece by piece.

Thread by thread.

Building something meaningful with love and intention.

That’s what motherhood feels like too.

This collection is for the mothers raising children.

The grandmothers preserving traditions.

The women holding families together.

The daughters growing into themselves.

And the women learning to give themselves grace through every season of life.

More than jewelry, these pieces were designed to feel like home.

To be worn daily.

To carry meaning.

To tell a story.

Because the heart of motherhood is found in the little things we carry with us every day.

Happy Mother’s Day 🤍
